It’s true: Travel Beyond has been named the world’s No. 1 Safari Outfitter in the 2025 edition of the Travel + Leisure® World’s Best Awards! We are so grateful to once again be recognized on the World’s Best list, having appeared four times previously and now earning the top spot for the second time.

Each year, Travel + Leisure® readers vote for their favorite safari outfitters, resorts, destinations, and more. This recognition reflects the feedback of discerning travelers from around the world. T+L shared, “Travel Beyond is this year’s No. 1 safari outfitter, and readers praised their expertise, thoughtfulness, and ability to cater to specific requests … Many voters had traveled with Travel Beyond multiple times—one reader said they’d recently returned from their second vacation with the company and ‘have another trip booked in August to return to Africa.’”

This award is extra meaningful to us this year, as we’re also celebrating our 50th anniversary. In 1975, my parents, Audrey and David Beal, founded the company and became the first to plan luxury safaris to Africa. Today, our love of Africa remains just as strong, and our mission endures: to design custom journeys that responsibly immerse travelers in some of the world’s most inspiring destinations.

Being named the No. 1 Safari Outfitter is a proud moment for our entire team. It reflects the thought, care, and expertise we bring to every trip we plan. This recognition also highlights the strong relationships we’ve built over the years with our incredible clients and partners.
