Brief History Of Edventure Tours In Tulum

Owner Eduardo and Staff

Edventure Tours Proprietor

This is a family owned and operated business and proudly recognized as the; Original Tour Company, in this region. The owners and staff have been introducing visitors to the Yucatan Peninsula’s main attractions for decades, and their experience definitely shows!

“Edventure Tours in Tulum has grown and Big Eddie will happily greet you, as you arrive at our tour shop. We still remain a small company, with local guides that pride themselves in wanting to show you, the best day – the best places, with the best service possible.
They are proud to tell you of their heritage, their history, and personal stories of this area”.

On our first tour seasons ago, we were picked up promptly at our resort hotel, previously arranged.
We were transported to the Edventure Tours In Tulum shop, located right in town.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owners and staff and then properly outfitted with; snorkel equipment and wet suits. These would be used for our time in the water throughout the day.

This was also the gathering place for others joining us for the day and/or embarking on, other exciting activities Edventure Tours in Tulum offer.

On our second tour, we again were picked up promptly at our hotel and taken directly, to our first private cenote location. Our equipment was taken right to this location to speed things up, allowing for much more time, to enjoy our adventures.

Nelson – Our Guide for the Day

Edventure Tours Guide

Having already viewed the incredible {Tulum National Park} previously, our guide {Nelson} and driver invited us on a short tour of {Tulum} proper, and its surrounding beaches.

With the option of choosing smaller individualized private tours if you wish, allows you the flexibility to alter the itinerary as you go along. This, unlike those larger formal bus tours.

We were able to stop and browse around the town center, with Nelson pointing out some of the town’s history.
He also showed us some other popular areas worth visiting at a later time on our own, if we wished to do so.

We also made a stop at a beautiful stretch of white sand beach, dotted with modest beachfront bungalow accommodations, together with side street restaurants and cafes. An added bonus not expected and greatly appreciated!

The deepest pit in the {Dos Ojos Cenotes}, is over 390 feet deep and contains a number of; deep diving pits and/or rooms.

Our guide Nelson is passionate about the environment and its preservation as he explains, the cenotes and invites us into “His Office,” for our first close up look, inside the caves.:)
