After work went home, ate lunch, and drove to Tivoli. Because of a traffic jam in front of parking, I was late. I entered the venue, the west stand was full, organized kids visit with buses, 16 € ticket. I hardly found a place at the top as it was a free seating order. Many Turkish flags were there.
It was already 3:6 for Zirrat as I entered. Tonček Šteren (he plays for the Slovenian national team, and just moved to the Turkish team) was the best player in this set (as, spike, defense). It finished 21:25
The home team lost the second set as well, 20:25. Again they started badly, 0:4 and from then on difference stayed to the end.
3rd set they started better, with a lead of 5:1. They kept the lead to 10 and were close until 15. But 4 serve faults changed course. Guests were better and won 0:3. Štern was the player of the game. This was the CEV Championship league game.
